Kathryn Taylor is a self taught mixed media artist whose abstract paintings explore themes of spirituality, surrender, faith and finding yourself in the act of being part of something greater.

After spending nine years working as a freelance photographer, she felt an undeniable pull to pursue the artistic medium she had loved quietly and soulfully years earlier.

In 2026 she made the leap within the light of her cotton mill studio, dedicating herself to her artistic growth and becoming.

In Spring ‘26 her first personal project Art Letters was born; a monthly art print and letter to new friends. A chance to create art wrapped in words offering deeper honest conversation around finding your self within yourself, as well as the gentle opportunity to collect miniature pieces of colour and spirituality to those who join her.

Kathryn hopes to affirm her journey into art with her first group exhibition in May ‘26.
