Kathryn Taylor is an artist based on the edge of the Manchester countryside. Her paintings look to explore the small unnoticed stories of flowers (the wilder the better) growing contently amongst each other, their interwoven connections and how they, without question, grow beautifully to take up space. This natural, individual empowerment is her biggest, most personal inspiration.

Her paintings look to invite the opportunity to see these stories within the smallest corners of nature. The wild amateur status of her own garden is a constant source of that inspiration, and one she wanders through daily. Her art holds a love for nature’s embodiment of connection, relationships and individual self belief.

Kathryn’s style holds a desire for colour, line and texture as well as an evolving love for painting on wood. During Autumn ‘26 she is also pursuing a personal ambition to create for 100 days on paper.
