BEYOND THE DAYDREAM

This is the first collection of 2026; a sweet spiritually led series sharing pieces that express a journey from daydreaming to holding something in reality. A slightly different take on the collection story as this one adopts the very human experience in making art. Not so much the story of each piece but the story of the journey to making them.

I wanted this collection to feel like a gentle reminder that we can choose to pivot, redirect or course correct our lives at any time. We can, with aligned action, go from the beauty of the floating day dream, to putting tools in hand, colour on canvas and to fully let go of the expectation and perfectionism that so often holds us back from connecting to the blank page. Allowing the dream to take shape, to hold a new tangible form and to embrace its life out of our human mind, is in itself an act of seeing yourself in a new light. One you may never have felt before; this is the magic and permission that is given through the act of being beyond the dreaming. A rebellious and beautiful act where the dream is the seed and now its up to you to make its come alive.

The biggest lesson from this collection I wanted to express is in the acceptance that our dreams play a kind and infectious role in getting us to sit within the new timeline we wish for our lives, but what will form is likely to be very different that what we see amongst the mist. The art will create its own version of the dream and have its own story to tell. the stories will be a combination of both of you together. Stories that may have sat dormant but if given a chance come to the surface to be heard, be seen and sometimes healed as you bravely act on what your dream told you.

They might even better than you daydreamed.
